Hi, I’m Kristy, equal parts adventure-seeker, music lover, leadership nerd, and mom on the move. I grew up in foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains where I learned early how grounding, humbling, and energizing the outdoors can be. I’ve carried that love with me ever since, whether I’m skiing, snowboarding, hiking a new trail, or simply taking in a quiet moment outside.
I’m the youngest of four girls, which probably explains my mix of independence, grit, and ability to keep up with just about anything life throws my way. That youngest-sibling energy shows up everywhere, in how I love to move, how I chase adventure, and how fast I can sprint after my toddler.

When I’m not working with leaders or hosting workshops, you’ll usually find me doing something active: skiing or snowboarding in the winter, dancing at live shows, working out at Club Greenwood, or my newest passion, golf. I’ve fallen in love with the game, the focus, the challenge, the beautiful courses. It’s become a surprising new source of joy and humility.

I’ve always had a thing for cars. I grew up in the garage handing my dad tools, building go-karts, and supporting my nephew’s off-roading adventures. If I weren’t doing what I do now, I would have happily become a race car driver, a professional skier, or even an astronaut. I’m inspired by people who push limits and blaze their own trail, like Mel Robbins for her courage and clarity, Lindsey Vonn for her power and perseverance, and Kellie Gerardi for daring to reach beyond Earth itself.

For a long time, my life looked very different on the surface. I spent years building a career in engineering and corporate roles with big-name companies, climbing the ladder, chasing the next promotion, and sitting in rooms where the stakes were high and the pressure was constant. On paper, everything looked successful. Inside, I could feel something was off.
What stayed with me from those years wasn’t the project plans, product launches, or slide decks. It was the people. The managers who made you feel seen. The leaders who burned out quietly. The teams doing incredible work while navigating unclear expectations, poor communication, and constant change. I kept seeing the same truth over and over again: business problems were almost always people problems in disguise.
Eventually, I realized I didn’t just want to succeed in those environments. I wanted to change them. So I stepped away from the corporate climb and chose to focus my work on what matters most to me: helping leaders create workplaces where people can actually thrive. Now, through my leadership development work, I get to support managers and teams in becoming more human, more intentional, and more effective in how they lead.
At the end of the day, I’m someone who believes in living fully, in movement, in growth, in creativity, and in adventure. Whether I’m on a mountain, at a concert, on a golf course, or laughing with my little one, I’m here for all of it. And in my work, I’m here for the leaders who want to build something better for their people.
